By Leslie Charteris, Part Three of a three part story that was later to become in book form the titles "The Saint Meets His Match", "She was a Lady", and "Angels of Doom". This copy of The Thriller is issue 62 of volume 2. It is page numbered 342-364. The story covers pages 342-360, other contents include "Florence Maybrick - Martyr Or Murderess by Phyllis Lewis". It measures 11.5 inches tall x 9 inches wide and is in very good condition. The spine is a bit weak due to splitting on the fold. Very good coloured illustrated paper covered boards showing a young school boy hanging on to the underside of a plane ready to jump onto the roof of a passing train. Blue cloth spine which has faded over time. Clean endpapers. Coloured frontispiece of 'Winning of the Schneider Trophy 1931. Vickers' Supermarine Rolls-Royce S6V flying at 407 miles per hour. ' Three other coloured full page plates. Not paginated, a tiny bit of foxing no inscriptions. Also has black and white illustrations in text. Very good condition clean and bright. A real piece of nostalgia that will appeal to young men of all ages and probably a few young ladies as well! ! .
