Spotting to ffeps, and on occasion to text, plus a few dirty finger marks, else clean. Contents a bit shaken. A serviceable copy of this early account of 'whiff-whaff'. Unusual.

Robert Bontine Cunninghame Graham (1852-1936) was a founder of the National Party of Scotland and the first President of the Scottish Nationalist Party, as well as an adventurer and author. A good+ copy of Smith's first book, which lays the theoretical foundation for Wealth of Nations. As with the Wealth of Nations, Smith continued to revise Moral Sentiments until his death in 1790, with six editions appearing in his lifetime.
