Description:
Hardcover edition, published by Grosset & Dunlap. Originally published in 1932 by William Penn & Company, this is a reprint edition. Loring titles from 1922 to 1937 were first published by William Penn, and later reprinted by Grosset starting in 1961. So even though the only date listed is 1932, this is most likely one of the later reprint editions since it is a Grosset & Dunlap copy. Will Sandra Duval find lasting happiness, despite the efforts of her rival, Pat Newsome? The dust jacket has extensive tears, edge wear and creases. Repairs were done with clear tape on the obverse of the jacket. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Date written in blue pen ink on the front paste-down page, '1963'. Blue cloth covered boards, with the author name and title on the spine and on the front panel in red. Boards are flat, the tips of the corners are slightly bumped, minor dots of edge wear primarily to the head and heel of the spine. Binding is tight and square. No… Read More
