AN ART DECO THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS FINELY ILLUSTRATED BY BERTHA AND ELMER HADER FOR ONE OF MACMILLAN'S HAPPY HOUR BOOKSThe husband and wife team, Bertha and Elmer Hader, have illustrated Clement C. Moore's poem with striking Art Deco illustrations, including the endpapers. Many of the ilustrations are double-page spreads - and all illustrations are bright and colorful. Oblong, 12mo, decorated paper over boards, decor eps. At the inner hinge of the eps there is some age darkening, bottom of copyright page has 2 remnants of a solid cream color book plate. Remnants are on a page also cream colored so they are not very noticeable and do not cover up any type. Very light edge wear.
