Description:
Lothian Book World, 1984. No jacket issued. Signed and numbered by the writer. This edition is 1591 out of 5000. Some light smudging on front and back boards with some bombed corners, some sunning to spine. Interior is in fine condition, spotless. From the about the author page of this edition: Red Skeleton was born July 18th, 1913. At age 71 he is still more than active with concerts, personal appearances, state fairs, conventions, universities, supper clubs, HBO specials, and motion pictures. He still has time to write five musical selections each day; an outline of a story; and a love letter to his wife, Lothian. He has been acclaimed by art critics and has received the "Footprint in the Sands of Time" Award. Having written some 6,000 stories, he is now in the process of producing up to 20 books a year. Being a clown, his stories (which are pure, honest, and without vulgarity) are suitable for the entire family.

Description:
[New York]: Alfred a Knopf Inc B.E. Trice, 1999. Limited Lettered First Edition. Quarter Leather & Cloth. Fine. A beautiful and scarce Limited "lettered" edition signed by the author on the limitation page and in place of the letter it states "Herb Yellin's Copy." This dedication makes this book the most rare of all the editions: it is in the format of the scarce 26 lettered edition as it is quarter-bound in black leather and red decorative cloth with gold titling. In fine unread condition. With the B.E. Trice imprint on the spine. Enclosed in a black cloth slipcase with "Anne Rice" in gold on the front, also in fine like new condition. It's hard to imagine that a publisher would reset the font to make this single imprint, but they did and it created a wonderful one-of-a kind edition for the late Herb Yellin who was the beloved founder and publisher of Lord John Press; he passed away in 2014 and this beautiful and scarce book is from his library.
