Folio sheet folded in half and written on two sides of one half. Bears the V.O.C. blindstamp to the top right. This document relates to the Dutch V.O.C. ship the Nieuwe Zeend its captain Carel Fredericks. Other names mentioned are Rynier Beek and Carel Wilhelm Swarts (possibly the ship's doctor). The document is dated 16 October 1818. Records show that the Niewe Zeelust landed at the Cape on 24 October 1818 on its way to Batavia.

Folio sheet folded in half. V.O.C. blind stamp to the upper right. Appears to be a citation to Alexander Tennant. Signed by John Jacobsen and dated 11 February 1814. Condition very good.
