Lima, Ohio, 1894 "Containing a complete alphabetical and classified list of all the business interests of Wabash county, an alphabetically arranged residence directory of the cities of Wabash and North Manchester, a list of owners of land in Wabash County, giving locations by townships with acreage and valuation and a list of county and city officials." Bound with printed paper over boards, with many ads. There appears to be one page of ads missing from the back, the backstrip is missing and front cover is paartially detached. A good clean copy with no other missing pages, no tears, creases, underlinings, etc.

Walsworth, 1976 Bound in green cloth with gold seal on front, 597 pp. Small scratches on front cover, else a quite nice copy. Extra charges may apply due to weight.

Simon & Schuster, 1954 Little Golden Book D37 with A on last page. Minor rubbing to cover, else nice.

Racine, Wisconsin: Whitman Publishing Co., 1948 Bound in pictorial boards with black spine, 96 pp. First few leaves with a bumped corner, 1" tear and chip to the top of spine cloth, cover starting at back gutter. A solid good only copy with no stray tears, rips or stains.

Simon & Schuster, 1955 Little Golden Book D45 with the A on last page. Some rubbing to cover, else very good.

This a stated first printing Giant Golden Book with Mary Blair cover and illustrations in color and black and white by Al Dempster and Bill Justice. Jacket with light soil and small chips on front, somewhat larger but still not affecting the graphics on back. Pages are quite clean and bright, free from defect. A loved and tenderly cared for copy.

Simon & Schuster, 1956 Bound in blue over red cloth, 342 pp., stated first printing. Jacket with touches of wear, a couple of nicks around edges, reinforced internally with clear tape at folds. Tipped onto the front endpaper is a Barlett's unfamiliar Quotation, "Walter Hagen was an artist with a sense of timing so infallible that he could make the tying of his shoelaces more dramatic than the other guy's hole-in-one." Herbert Warren Wind. Original owner's name on front end paper and also small stamp on rear endpaper. An attractive copy.

New York : Howe & Ferry, 1862 Bound in purple blind stamped cloth [spine faded to light brown], 256 pp. plus 3 pp ads. Pages are quite bright with tissue guards still present between illustrations with very few occasional fox spots. Volume slightly cocked, chips at head of spine, back hinge broken. Christmas 1865 gift inscription and accession number at the bottom of title page.Still al in all a better than usual copy.

Grosset & Dunlap Bound in red cloth with frontis and three plates with scenes from the photoplay starring Jack Holt. Book has heavy shelfwear, jacket with a 1" chip at the bottom of the spine, 1/2" chip at top.

Caxton, 1941 Bound in maroon wove cloth with gilt titles and illustration on front cover, 362 pp. Book with no names, marks, underling, except for two small spots inside front cover. . in jacket with chips at extremities and one closed tear.

Professional Press, 1994 This book covers the exploits of the Flasher submarine in the Pacific in WWII. This 465 pp book is illustrated with photos and drawings. Inscribed and signed by the author on the front endpaper.

Boston: D. Lothrop, 1884 Bound in green cloth with orange and black floral decorations gilt spine titles. A record of Mrs. Rebecca Pomeroy's experience in war-times". Civil War nurse, was involved with Abe Lincoln and his family, giving personal insight. Decorative cloth, lightly rubbed.

Scribners, 1945 Early printing but not first, same date on the coyright and title page, Scribner seal on copyright page, but no "A" . Jacket is in pieces with front and back panels complete but for some chipping on the edges, missing most of the spine.

Donohue, 1913 One of the Boy Scouts series, this a nice copy in scarce dust jacket. Pages are evenly tanned, jacket lightly rubbed with nicks at the extremities.

Mullin-Kille, 1958 Great for genealogy, local history, directory lists names, occupation, place of employment, address and phone number for the citizens of the city. There are 474 pages including many ads.

Bound in decorative brown cloth, 30 pp folding accordion style. All pages are glossy photographic reproductions but the centerpiece which is a two page color reproduction of Brumidi's allegorical painting in the Capitol Dome. There is a chip to one corner of the cover and the last half ot the photos are separated from the binding. I find no date or publisher for this book.

London: John Murray, 1840 This an ex-lib reading copy with front endpaper and 1/2 title loose and chipped, spine taped and corners reinforced, the leaf for pp 215/216 is misbound between pp194 and 195.

Limited Editions Club, 1971 Bound in crisp quarter leather over cloth boards, #648/1500 cc. Near fine book in fine slipcase.

GPO, 1938 Bound in red Morocco leather over cloth with red marbled edges, titles, date and Robert A Grant on the spine. Finely bound and but for the first few pages, unread book that belonged to Robert A Grant who served in the House of Representatives from 1/1939-1.1949 and as a federal judge in Northern Indiana from 8/57 to 1972.

Lippencott, 1866 Bound in blind stamped blue cloth with bright gilt spine titles, 324 and 336 pp., revised edition, expanded and enlarged. Faint stain on the back cover touching the spine, some pin holes to the front gutter, fairly heavy foxing to the first few pages of each volume, occasional foxing throughout. Still, a quite well preserved example with both tissue guards still present and protecting the frontises, largely unread.
