There's a 1.5" tear at bottom hinge of contents page, a 3.5" tear at top outside hinge of spine at rear, a 1" tear to surface only to top front of spine, and the lower spine cap is a bit frayed. Lower corners lightly rubbed, top corners lightly bumped. Light scuffing to surfaces. Full color illustrations to front board, rear board, and throughout text. Endpapers decorated in full color with maps of United States showing regions of Native Americans. Clean and bright.
