This example contains instructions and 133 numbered paragraphs for various geographical locations with information about each city. The players start at #1 LONDON and finish with #133 ATHENS. This game is not listed in the 1971 (2nd edition) of Whitehouse. Whitehouse does list a similar game "WALLIS'S TOUR OF EUROPE" first published in 1794 as an "engraving of a map of Europe with the rules printed from type and affixed on either side of the map" but he notes that later editions of the same game from 1811 were printed with the map and instruction booklet separate. Rear panel with odd color variations (dampstaining?). Penciled gift inscription on second front flyleaf encouraging the reader to look at the back of the book where Bolton's signature is inked and dated (1926) upside down (!) on a flyleaf there. Evidence of some glue touchup to the front hinge. Rear hinge sound and original. Glue residue on front pastedown from bookplate, through which "DISCARDED" stamp can be seen. The first volume was published in 1963 at Frankfurt am Main, 634 pages. The second volume was published in 1972 at Darmstadt in 2 volumes (788 pages in the first, continuation to 1456 in the second). 3 volumes are in original tan cloth, sound bindings. Folding charts are found in the rear of 2 of the volumes. The djs are worn at the edges and have minor soiling as well as edge tears. Erasure marks on front endpapers, otherwise clean internally. Solid working/reference copies. In German. Cloth.

A huge catalog with everything electrical that could be bought in the 1921-22 season from the company. Everything from insulators to wires to motor driven appliances to transformers to you name it. Bruce Wetmore in 1906 founded "the Wetmore-Savage Company, an electrical supply business, with Hanson M. Savage. In 1918 the company went into the automotive equipment business following its purchase of the Motor Car Equipment Co. Wetmore-Savage was the New England distributor for Westinghouse, Gould, Holophane, and the Auburn Rubber Company. Printed on grey paper, blue/green title lettering and poem in black. The limitation notes that 100 were offered for sale and 26 lettered copies reserved for the author. Broadside. Jane Yolen is a multiple award winner including 2 Nebulas, and she won the 1993 Rhysling award for 'Will'. A Midsummer Night's Press was founded in New Haven CT in 1991. Focusing on hand-printing on a letterpress, it published broadsides of poems by Nancy Willard, Joe Halderman, and Jane Yolen, among others, in signed, limited editions of 126 copies, numbered 1-100 and lettered A-Z. In 1993, the publisher moved to NY and the press went into hiatus. Given the small time the press was in operation we have been unable to determine how many examples made it into circulation.
