This copy has a slit along the back page, probably caused by the storage system in the shops. Because it is a Folio sized production it was folded and held in a magazine rack. This copy, despite having the slit, is in an exemplary condition. Beautiful photographs and articles and interviews with Dexter Fletcher, David Hockney, Glenda Jackson and Lord Snowden. Warehouse London, 1986 A fabulous piece of nostalgia from the 1980s! How many copies have survived I wonder? This huge magazine - 43x30 cm or 17"x12" - is admittedly not in perfect shape. Not much from the 1980s can claim to be otherwise. But this superb keepsake, ephemera, fashion statement - is a great example of its time. Super black and white photographs display Lord Snowden, Glenda Jackson, Dexter Fletcher, amid some classic fashion shots. Okay, this was a showcase for a clotheshop, but it is a big brash knockout example of its time. It has been folded at some time in its life, and the back page is nearly divided at the half way point where it was creased; the front cover has a turned corner; but the fact that it has SURVIVED all this time is remarkable. It is well printed, but the paper used is flimsy. For any of these faults we can only be grateful it has reached the 21st Century in pretty good shape.
