This is from the library of archaeologist M.A. Tisdale wrote his name on the bottom edge and and printed it at the top of the front endpaper. Maps, tables. Some sunning to the spine, light crimping to the bottom corners. Very Good.

Kansas City: Will L. Livernash, 1916 Sheet music, 5 pp. Lovely cover art of by Starmer. Virtually anybody who has even a minimal sheet music collection that includes ragtime-era items likely has a cover done by one of the prolific Starmer Brothers. They had a consistency that was hard to match in terms of creating eye-catching cover art that did justice to or often outshined the contents within. By some accounts, they were responsible for nearly a quarter of all signed covers in large format from the late 1890s to around 1919, and continued producing cover art into the mid 1940s. Name on front, light creasing, small stain visible on inside page, edge tears and the spine are taped inside. Fair.

Boston: Lothrop, Lee & Shepard Co., 1910 First edition in hardcover with decorated front board and spine. Inscribed by Mr. Adams on the first blank page. Copy from the Thomaston Public Library in Thomaston, Maine with their bookplate and stamp on the front paste down. Three pieces of contemporary ephemera including a hand written one page letter for Mr Adams(with his stamp, not his signature at the bottom). This is a lovely copy with minor wear to the boards and spine, embossed stamp on the title page, light foxing on the title page. Very Good.
