Format is approximately 8.5 inches by 14 inches, printed on both sides. Stiff card stock. Folded so that there are four panels per side and approximately 8.5 inches by 3.75 inches per panel. One two panel section is on The Threat Environment. A second two panel section is on Securing Deterrence for the Future. A third two panel section is entitled "The Nuclear Triad is the best structure to assure our security--the Air Force provides 2 of the 3 legs of the Triad." The major part of this section is a map of the United States with strategic USAF installations identified. Of the remaining two panels, one is a title panel and the last is a pictorial assemblage that also identifies the organization that produced this brochure with a contact phone number. Currently, Lt. Gen. Jack Weinstein is Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration, Headquarters U. S. Air Force, Washington D.C. General Weinstein is responsible to the Secretary and Chief of Staff of the Air Force for focus on Nuclear Deterrence Operations. He provides direction, guidance, integration and advocacy regarding the nuclear deterrence mission of the United States Air Force and engages with joint and interagency partners for nuclear enterprise solutions. Currently, Dr. Billy W. Mullins is the Associate Deputy Chief of Staff, Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration. He provides nuclear-focused expertise and leadership related to nuclear weapons and weapon systems policies, plans, technical procedures, programs and structures in support of the Air Force strategic deterrent mission. He is the senior technical/scientific adviser to the Secretary of the Air Force and Chief of Staff of the Air Force on nuclear weapons and weapon systems.
