One of the most important German Jews of his time, Dr. Timendorfer is best remembered as the Grand President of B'nai B'rith. During Dr. Timendorfer's presidency B'nai B'rith grew from 33 lodges with 3,300 members to 97 lodges with 90,000 members in 1923.-

This book is in good overall condition with some wear to its covers and edges. The spine is cracked in the back and the last ten, or so, pages are attached by two of the threads, but are not completely loose. The foldout Guggenheimer family tree is still attached to the inside of the rear cover. The pages are clean, except for an etching of a church on the first page, and have slight tanning.
