Edward VII, King of England. Souvenir and Programme of the King and Queen's Procession Through London on October 25th, 1902. THE PROCESSION Will Start at Buckingham Palace about noon and will proceed along the Mall, Marlborough Gate, Pall Mall, North side of Trafalgar Square, Duncannon Street, the Strand, Temple Bar, Fleet Street, Ludgate Hill, Cannon Street to the Guildhall. By way of London Bridge, the Borough, Westminster Bridge Road, Parliament Street, Horse Guards, the Mall to Buckingham Palace. London: R. Skinner, Electric Printer, 19 Blackfriars Road, London, S.E., 1902.

Sheet 35 cm x 35.5 cm, inset with royal vignettes, 21 cm x 22 cm. A colored paper place mat with a floral border of pink Tudor Roses, within which are the heads of the King and Queen, followed by the listing of everyone in the Procession of seven carriages plus the Royal State Coach. This very ephemeral souvenir survived folded up in a book, with the expected creases. Otherwise, it is as it was on October 25, 1902. The Coronation of Edward VII was originally scheduled for June 1902, but an emergency surgery for an abdominal abscess postponed the event to August 9, 1902. This procession was a substituted event as the many foreign delegations in London in June had returned home, turning the procession commemorated by this souvenir into a domestic event, even with the participation of Queen Alexandra's relations. This second procession had been postponed until Edward VII was well enough to participate on October 25, 1902.

Liverpool: Matthews Brothers, Printers, [c. 1870s]. 64 page pamphlet. Original light blue wrappers printed in black. Engraving depicting the museum on the lower wrapper, 1 engraving within the text. Wrappers rubbed, dulled, and spotted, minor crease to the upper corner slightly affecting the contents. Very good condition. The rare catalogue of the Liverpool Museum of Anatomy, describing in detail the Museum's contents and policies, and illustrating its interior by an engraving on the lower cover. The Liverpool Museum of Anatomy was one of a number of such museums in the UK and US that specialised in wax anatomical models and, unlike many of the museums of professional medical organisations, were open to the public. Though the stated goal was always education, particularly regarding reproduction and the dangers of sexual vice, these museums also traded on the shock or titillation value of their exhibits and some were targeted by the medical establishment as purveyors of vice and quackery. Description:
Redlands, California: Pure Gold, [1955]. Stapled wraps. Very good. [12p.] Small chips to wrap edges. The Mutual Orange Distributors (MOD) was founded in Redlands, California, in 1906 as a cooperative marketing association representing citrus growers in California. Within a few years, the coop included citrus growers in western Arizona. In 1955, MOD changed its name to Pure Gold, originally the brand name for fruit grown by the approximately 2,500 MOD growers. Sunkist took over the Pure Gold trademark when the co-op closed in 1987 due to housing developments replacing the citrus fields and the shrinking number of packing plants. This booklet explains the history of the citrus-growing culture in California and Arizona and provides information on the variety of oranges, lemons, and grapefruit grown and their cultivation and packaging. A map on the back shows the regions represented by the Pure Gold cooperative. Scarce, none located in OCLC. B&w illustrations and halftone photographs. (11"x8-1/2")
