Worried (Dutch?) Children wearing Wooden Shoes look worried as a Dachshund is about to cross their path. The Postcard is ringed with a ring of Wurst (Sausages), with the caption, "Made in Germany".
Franked with USA # 300 (Scott), tied with a beautiful Sandylake, PA CDS Cancel, the Postcard was mailed to a recipient in Springboro, PA on 17 May 1907. Only the recipient's address is written on the reverse, with the message written on the face. Prior to 1908, only the address could be written on the reverse in order to qualify for the 1¢ tariff.
