George La Fountaine (1934 – )

Born November 10, 1934, in Attleboro, Massachusetts, George La Fountaine is an American Writer of suspense thrillers.

He attended high school in Seattle Washington, then served as a Marine during the Korean War, being promoted to sergeant. After the war, he attended classes at the Pasadena Playhouse from 1955-1957 and worked in Hollywood as a lighting director and consultant. His first novel, Two Minute Warning, about an assassin at a Super Bowl Game, was published in 1975 and released as a movie in 1976. His second novel, Flashpoint, published in 1976, was produced as a movie starring Kris Kristofferson in 1984. His other novels are The Scott-Dunlap Ring (1978), The Killing Seed (1980), and The Long Walk (1986).
