New York: Pantheon Books, 1983. Deluxe Limited Edition, #119/250. Hardcover. Quarto (12 in. x 12 in.), [12], 192 pages. In Very Good plus condition, with Very Good plus case. Black fabric case with gilt lettering to front and spine. Boards bound in red publisher's cloth with gilt lettering to spine and front board. Boards show very light shelf wear overall with minimal rubbing along edges. Textblock is clean. Includes 7 1/2 in. x 9 1/2 in. color photograph mounted on Rising Photomount and signed by Eliot Porter in pencil. Eliot Porter (1901-1990) was an American photographer known for his exquisite color photographs of nature.
