(2, notices of two gardening books)+f/piece+vi+148+(36 pp. pub.catalogues & notices) 8 col.plates ex-pag. as called for, 40 'wood engravings', some full page, all edges gilt; clean and unmarked but gutters between some gatherings incipiently opening, one detached plate now refixed with transparent tear-repair tape. attractive bevelled edge covers marred by a small cloth nick towards top spine, slight joint rubbing and marking to lower back plus very small light spot to front. Despite faults, back cover and spine nick being the worst, an attractive copy of this work by a leading gardening authority of the day.
