New York: Watson-Guptill Publications, 1947. Second edition, 1947. Includes twenty-four plates in color, other illustrations in black and white. Black cloth with front label in black white and red, 317 pages, matching dustjacket. Very good with firm binding, clean pages, name neatly written inside front cover, no other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [10.00] and is n good condition with wear to extremities, a couple of short closed tears, very little paper loss. Book includes examples of illustration from books, newspapers, advertising and more. While containing some of the more predictable illustrators such as N. C. Wyeth, Norman Rockwell and Harrison Cady, it also includes less popularly known illustrators such as Constantin Alajalov, Fred Cooper, V. Bobri, Martha Sawyers and others. . Cloth. Very Good/Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
