Hand written title label on spine. Corners bumped, bottom corners fabric worn through. Gilt top edge; other edges untrimmed. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper. Tape repair to half-title page. Internally neat, clean and bright. No dust jacket. 8vo. Looks at a country which, in a military sense, was considered preeminent in Europe, and which, by reason of the tripartite agreement between her, Austria and Italy, filled a leading position, in a political sense, on the continent, but a world power she was not.
