Jeffrey MacDonald, was a Green Beret surgeon accused of savagely murdering his pregnant wife and two young daughters in 1970. First cleared of the murders by a military judge, MacDonald was tried and convicted almost ten years later. The case inspired the book Fatal Vision by Joe McGinniss.
