Size is quarto (4vo), 13"/32.5cm h. Bound in publisher's royal blue cloth, gilt lettering to spine and front board. Glossy color photographic dj. Plain white endpapers. [1-2], 3-140, [141-144]. Fourteen pages of general introductory text; more than 60 color plates with facing text including name, description, medium, location. The vast majority are icons located in Greece or the Balkans, with a handful from Russia. Condition notes: A clean, tight, square copy of a handsomely-produced volume with light wear and tanning to dj. Several small closed tears to dustjacket. A lovely volume. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in a magical, historic farmhouse in piedmont Maryland stuffed with books. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
