Philadelphia: The John C. Winston Company, 1934. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very good. 197p. A blue gilt cloth hardcover book in very good condition with the rare original dustjacket. Cover has some spotty stains. The jacket is lightly edgeworn with a triangular chip off its front panel. Former owner's name else unmarked, clean and tight. Kemmerer (1875-1945) was an American economist and advisor to many foreign governments. He promoted adherence to the gold standard, balancing budgets, and having central banks.
