Description:
London, England: Biteback Publishing, Ltd, 2013. Soft cover. Fine. 1940. Andree De Jongh-the Little Cyclone- set up the Comet Line to smuggle trapped soldiers and airmen through France and across the Pyrenees into Spain. Such heroism came at an enormous cost. 156 members of the Comet line died, the majority of them in Nazi concentration Camps. Little Cyclone is a tale of tragedy and triumph, a remarkably human and inspiring story that rivals the most dramatic of thrillers. 190 pages, the bottom of the pages has a bookstore stamp on it, otherwise the book would grade new. There is no creasing on the spine. The exhilarating true story of the greatest escape route of the second World War. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.
