About The Book: Missile Envy gives us a good look at the anti-nuclear peace movement of the mid 1980's. The author, Helen Caldicott, is an Australian physician devoted to preventing nuclear war with a religious passion. She argues that we must change our whole mindset to survive the nuclear age without a world ending war. She is a fairly good writer and makes some good points worth acknowledging, but as is the case with so many books of this kind, the nonsense is much thicker than the wisdom.

Includes Caldicott's famous interview with Ronald Reagan, which had a positive effect on the president's conception of the nuclear arms race.

Insurance & handling is included free. Extra Charges/Fees apply on Shipments Outside The U.S. and Expedited Shipments. Oversize and/or heavy books may require additional fees. Will advise.Written 10.21.22AK #7129-10.3122 Img.8559
