About This Item
London: Collins, 1948. Hardcover. Fair/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Interesting psychological novel of life and death from March Cost, aka Margaret Mackie Morrison. Surprisingly hard to find given numerous reprints, this copy being from the fourteenth impression. A little toning, occasional spotting and one page rather finger-marked, but otherwise all in good internal order. Purple boards faded to edges and lightly bumped, with crease to spine. Fair clipped Rex Whistler d/j, well worn to edges, dulled and marked with loss to foot of spine. Better than a reading copy, but only just. 8vo. 290pp
