First edition. Illustrated with a frontispiece and three plates. Collated complete. A homely tale originally written for The Christian Magazine, on the system of the church and the history surrounding the old church clock. Includes a memoir of Mr. Robert Walker. Written by Richard Parkinson, a British writer and cleric. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. The odd small mark to the boards. Small splits in the cloth to the head and tail of the spine with a 1.5" split to the rear joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with light scattered spotting and age toning. The odd pencil annotation. Good
