Description

First edition, an oblong sized trade paperback, published by Gwasg Carreg Gwalch, 1999. A photographic journey through the Rhosydd slate quarry in Wales, with historic details of the mine, and the men who worked there. Text is in both English and Welsh. 10" X 8-1/2", 56 pages. Jean Napier is a landscape photographer, specializing in the area around Wales, Cumbria, and Snowdonia National Park. This is not a remainder, not a library discard. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Very light crease to the front cover, a light diagonal mark at the bottom right corner. Edges of the text block are clean. Binding is tight and square. Attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.

Do you want to see a photo of a book before you order it ? We try to post as many photos as possbiel, but sometimes there will be a item in inventory that does not show a photo here. So feel free to ask for photos, we don't mind at all.

We package all of our orders carefully either in a box that has been designed to ship books, or in a padded envelope. We want to make sure you receive your order in the best possible condition!

Our preferred shipping method is USPS Media Mail. Recently, the USPS has added tracking to Media Mail , which has been a great addition to this service.

If you do choose to have your order shipped "Expedited", my shipping cost may seem higher than expected. Some of our books are large format hardcovers that can cost quite a bit when shipped expedited. So I would like to make sure that I can cover the cost upfront. However, if the actual cost of expedited shipping is less than the charge, I will refund the difference!

Terms of Sale:

30 day return guarantee, with full refund including original shipping costs for up to 30 days after delivery if an item arrives misdescribed or damaged.

For international shipments, we might sometimes have to adjust our shipping cost after your order arrives, if we determine that the weight of the book will cause the cost to be significantly more than the standard shipping rate for your country.
