This was part of a three volume biography of Robert Frost. The author, Lawrance Thonpson, won the 1971 Pulitzer Prize for Biograhy for this volume of work, "The Years of Triumph", 1915-1938.
The origins of the project went back to 1989 when Mr. Thompson became the poet's confidant, traveling copmpanion, and interpreter, with the understanding that the biography that he was gathering material for would not be published in the poet's lifetime.
