Description

London: The Free Age Press, Everett & Co., 1908. Hardcover . Used - very good. 16 mo. Book has been custom bound from original wrappers (bound in) in dark green pebbled leather with title stamped in gilt on spine, turns with stamped gilt design. Aqua watercolored endpapers, with unrelated notes inked on FFE. Owner’s name in ink ‘Philip Burton’ on first blank and rear of half-title (with date of ‘February 3, 1944’). We believe this to be Philip Henry Burton (1904-1995) radio producer and theater director, but best known as the legal guardian/acting instructor to actor Richard Burton.
