New York: William Morrow and Company, 1977. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine. Quarto, illustrated. No 6 of 20 author's copies of a total 200 signed by Waldman. This copy is inscribed by Waldman to Valerie Van Winkle "for your support, help and many kindnesses: in appreciation and friendship Max Waldman NYC 3/78" Van Winkle was assistant stage manager for the American Ballet Theatre. In publisher's gilt stamped black cloth box with black chemise. A portfolio of 125 black & white photographs on 99 plates by Waldman of dance sequences from 28 Ballets, and text, loose leaves as issued, printed on one side only using the Stonetone Process, by the Rapoport Printing Co. Laid in is a personal card from Waldman featuring a photo of Baryshnikov " Hope you Like it, Max"
