Illustrated with black and white photos. 5.5" X8.5" X .5" 14cm X 21.5cm X 1.5cm An exploration of the Oglala Lakotans' culture and spiritual beliefs as related by the late, revered medicine man Pete S. Catches Sr. (Petaga Yuha Mani- He Walks with Hot Coals) and his son, Peter V. Catches Jr. (Zintkala Oyate) of the South Dakota Pine Ridge Reservation. Both are Spotted Eagle medicine men.
