A compilation of the short writings of the major new talents of the time many of whom have become authors of modern American classics. Contributors include; Jack Kerouac, Robert Creeley, William Burroughs, Hubert Selby Jr., Diane Di Prima and LeRoi Jones himself, many of the pieces appear in print for the first time.

Ninth amazing issue of this classic 1960s little magazine; includes poems by Charles Bukowski and others, very early underground comix work by S. Clay Wilson and a Gerard Malanga centerfold. This copy is addressed to poet Fielding Dawson and has a bump at top edge, original staple holes, and soiled covers with small cover tears and holes (no writing in interior).

Containing the third Burrough periodical appearance (a selection from Naked Lunch; Schottlaender C3), plus a Bruce Conner etching and writing by Ginsberg, Wieners, McClure, Doyle, Whalen, et al.
