Publisher's copy, limited to 500 copies signed by the authors and and six others who helped in the production of the book, 222pp. with a foreword by Lawrence Clark Powell and inscribed by him at the end of his foreword, specially bound in brown cloth backed in beige cloth, spine lettering gilt, just a bit of finger soiling to spine otherwise near fine in very good slipcase with rubbing to corners.

New York: Dodd, Mead and Company, 1923. First Edition. Hardcover. 314pp. Orange cloth stamped in blind and black on the front and lettered in black on the spine. A few spots to cloth along the spine, edges a bit soiled. A near fine copy in very good dustjacket with chipping to the edges, a short tear to the upper edge of the front panel and a small spot on the inside. A novel of the Rockies and the search for a gold mine. ; Octavo.

dj has edgewear, rough, but complete and whole, some rubbing as shown in photo, flaps glued down to inside book cover. Interior book is very nice, clean. Some tanning and library stamp on inside front and back cover.

Douglas Duer, illustrator. 326 pp. plus 2 pages of advertisements at back for other Zane Grey books. Text is clean and unmarked but tanned, typical of the paper used in 1912. Text has light foxing scattered throughout. Previous owner's attribution stamped on front pastedown. Desert Gold, a Romance of the Border.

Good Condition/ No Dust Jacket. Red boards with Large gilt titles. Black titling on spine. Hinges cracked. N.C. Wyeth Illustration at center front shows Hopalong "Hoppy" Cassidy sitting on a barn wall. Plot summary: "In Bar-20, the first Hopalong Cassidy novel by Clarence E. Mulford, Cassidy could fan a gun like a Billy the Kid... Six rounds in three seconds was his slowest time. No one in the state of Texas could beat him.
