Scarce edition, 32 pages, short poems. Text of the book in German. Cover illustration of a bridge. Publishers advertising slip tucked in. Corners bumped, some fading and soil especially to back cover (small stained area). ""Im Erinnern an den XXI Internationalen Congress des PEN Clubs in Venedig 1949."" Text clean.

Full title is: "A brief description of the eternal gospel in a plain and easily understandable interpretation of the most important prophesies in the old and new testament" The text is in German Script. Small size book: 4 1/2 inches wide, 6 5/8 inches high, and 1 2/8 inches thick. The spine board is missing and someone a long time ago put a piece of fabric tape across there to each front and back board. No writing and no markings. There is foxing. The board corners are bumped and well worn. Total pages are 420. See pictures for condition.

An overview of Swiss military horse dressage

This rare end-of-war report on Switzerland's armed forces and defence is particularly interesting because of the manuscript signature of first owner Le colonel de cavalerie Albert de Tscharner, last of the great Swiss merceneries who died in 1948. It is offered as a companion book to Bernard Barbey: P. C. du Général which includes an autograph dedicace to de Tscharner by Général Guisan.
