Plot Summary: "First published in 1928, The Children is one of Edith Wharton's later novels, published when the author was in her mid-sixties. Like much of Wharton's fiction, it explores the moral complexities of socially unacceptable relationship – in this instance, one between a middle-aged man and a teenage girl."

The book is in excellent condition for its age. It has the prior owners name written inside otherwise the text is clean. Burgundy colored cloth cover in very good condition as well. 1936 first edition, sixth impression, of the McGraw-Hill translation of this classical work by the gestalt psychologist Kurt Lewin. Translated by Fritz and Grace M. Heider.

Rare - collectible copy of Norbert Wiener's classic. This is the first edition 7th printing. Bright red cloth cover with black and white title block, but with some shelf wear on edges. Inside there is some browning and an imperfection on the title page - see pictures, but otherwise the text is clean and unmarked. Not an ex-library copy and without any prior owner inscriptions. Overall very good condition given its age. See pictures for condition.

One of the most important psychology books of the last century, that includes Milgram's experiments where participants administer "electric shocks" to subjects.Condition of the book is Very Good. The binding is straight and sound. Inside pages are complete and unmarked.
