Stories From the Italian Country Table

God I love this cookbook. Not only do I get to cook fantastic recipes, you read about how and where is was cooked and all about the region each recipe was from in Italy. It is a travelog in essance of unbelievable eating. I can't wait to visit each and every farmhouse kitchen the recipes came from. Ohmygod: Tuscan white beans with red onion andn salami, with garlic dressing and chiante, fantastic. Not to mention Potatoe Gatto-the lasagne of mashed potatoes layered with parmasan, peas, salami and mozzarella and browned onions. I cannot stop eating it. Baking day chicken with black olives and red peppers is a feast to behold-my daughters favorite-is a whole meal w/huge flavor!! Now I am planning a trip for April to the Tuscanny Countryside and I want to stay at one of these country farmhouses. Which one should stay at Lynne?
