Krohn gives a detailed account of Rich's life, followed by six articles by Rich, originally published in various sporting magazines. Articles include: Life in the Rangeley Wilderness, The Kennebago Mountian Cave, and The Woodland Caribou. Rich was a Maine guide and trapper. He began and operated what was possibly the first fishing resort on the Rangeley Lakes: Angler's Retreat. With annotated bibliography, footnotes, appendix and index. Fine.
