About the author

Anthony Dozier attended North Carolina State University, majoring in engineering and completing extensive coursework in physics. Astrophysics remains one of his passions. In college Dozier began to experiment with writing, taking several writing courses and creating several short stories. Upon graduation, Dozier attended the University of South Carolina where he attained his MBA. It was during his undergraduate experience that Dozier's first story Amenra of the Sands began to take shape, though it would be a few more years before the story was completed. Inspiration for Dozier's latest novel, The Order of the Midnight Rose, came to him from a variety of sources, including an interest in the origins of Middle Eastern conflict as they pertain to religion. The son of a Presbyterian minister and a mathematics teacher, much of Dozier's childhood was spent in the church, fueling his later study of religions and the historical backgrounds that govern them.
