About the author

Opal Ashenbrenner is a well-known Bible teacher, author and speaker. While serving as Singles Director for Southern Hills Baptist Church, Opal saw great growth in the ministry, and authored programs and dramas that were performed at various churches and Glorieta Baptist Assembly. She has served as a consultant for the Sunday School Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, conducting Single Adult Leadership and Divorce Recovery Workshops throughout the Convention. Opal has authored two books and contributed numerous articles to various publications. Opal is in her 64th year of teaching Sunday school, leading Home Bible studies, and writing for Christian publications. She counts her family of as one of her greatest blessings and gives God all the glory for her successes in life.
