L. Typography of the Ministry of State Property, 1847. Alexander Alexandrovich Bestuzhev (1797-1837), best-selling writer, critic, publisher of the Polar Star, Decembrist. Educated in the Mountain Corps, he served as an aide-de-camp, later as a staff captain in the Dragoon regiment. After the suppression of the 1825 uprising, he was exiled to Siberia.
