About the author

Marjorie Agosn is the Luella Lamer Slain Professor of Latin American Studies at Wellesley College. She is the author of three memoirs, an autobiography, and many volumes of poetry, including Among the Angels of Memory, the Spanish language version of which won the 2007 International Latino Book Award.
