Edge and corner wear to the dj, lightly scuffed and scratched, chipping at the head and tail of the spine of the dj as well as the upper portions of the front and rear of the dj as well, corners are lightly bumped and rubbed, some light shelf wear, overall a clean used copy! Red cloth with gilt lettering on the front cover and gilt on black lettering on the spine. Dj is nicely preserved in a brand new protective mylar plastic cover! Deckle page edges. Frontis is a black and white illustration of Jean Jacques Rousseau. 1034 unmarked and uncreased historical pages! "Jean-Jacques Rousseau was born at Geneva on the 28th of June, 1712. His family had established themselves in that city at the time of the religious wars, but they were of pure French origin.
