The players are ordered alphabetically, but the author ranks them on a page at the end of the book. Minks also co-authored The Encyclopedia of Baseball Managers (1990) and wrote books on a few important wars in history. This copy is signed by three Hall of Famers: Yogi Berra, Mickey Mantle, and Stan Musial. Berra and Mantle led the Yankees to seven World Series titles together in the 50s and early 60s (Berra won a total of 13 World Series titles in his career).
