Wide Octavo. 260 pp + x pp adverts, prevous owner's inked inscription on ffep, b&w frontis, 9 stories, including the title piece and "Mental Telegraphy", a detailed inquiry into "psychic research". 5.7" x 8" brown cloth boards, embossed gilt, black design fr cover, & faded gilt spine letters. Cloth darkened, spine especially. t.p. vertical tear from the bottom along the hinge less than 2" long. .
