This is a scarce, original menu for the upscale "LUCHOW-FAUST" restaurant in St. Louis, Missouri. The menu is dated November 3, 1904. The grandiose "Luchow-Faust" was housed within the Tyrolean Alps section of the Pike at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. The front cover is beautifully illustrated in color. The back cover contains a drink list consisting of wines, beers, champagne, and mineral waters. Interesting menu items include Clear Green Turtle Soup, Calf's Head Vinaigrette, Calf's Brain, Beef Tongue Sandwich, Raw Meat Sandwich, Antelope Steak, and Stewed Prunes. "Luchow-Faust" was a combination of the two best-known restaurants of the era - "August-Luchow" in New York City, and St. Louis' own "Tony Faust's Oyster House."

Condition:

There are a few other random, small tears along the outer edges. Overall the menu is in Fair condition.
