1942, First Printing, 1 of only 2,000, Hardcover of "The Double Man" by W.H. Auden. This has a 1941 gift inscription on the front page with a quote from the book. There is no other writing. Pages are age toned. Square book. Gold gilt is good on spine. top stain is very good. "The Adventures of Oliver Twist" by Charles Dickens. Square book. This has no writing. The pages are evenly age toned. The hinges have starts but the sewn binding is solid. The hubbed spine has gold gilt. which is good, the lettering is lightly visible. The first few pages has some chipping to the front edge from age. The remainder of the pages are solid
