Stratford, Ontario: Stratford Shakespearean Festival , 1968. Paperback. Very Good+. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Catalogue to the 1968 curriculum of the Stratford Shakespearean Festival. Stapled illustrated card covers. Unpaginated (approx 56 pages with B&W photos / portraits / illustrations, colour costume designs, etc. Jean Gascon & John Hirsch were the artistic directors. The cast included many of Stratford greats - Raine, Henry, Hutt, Blake, Campbell, etc & a young US actor / dancer Christopher Walken (Romeo of Romeo & Juliet), Marilyn Lightstone & many, many more. Louise Marleau portrayed Julie. The Stratford musical season was prominent - Duke Ellington, Louis Applebaum & David Nadien among many great performers. Also includes the small brochure of the Romeo & Juliet production (directed by Douglas Campbell) with Christopher Walken as Romeo. Includes a little envelope to hold the Stratford tickets. Approaching near fine condition with slight edge wear.
