About This Item
Canada: Toronto, ON: Pan #x527, 1966, 1st Canadian Edition, First Printing /with/ London, Ontario: Somerville Industries ( Milton Bradley with Glidrose ), 1964, 1st Issue -----------TWO ITEMS, ONE BOOK / ONE BOARDGAME, BOTH of these items are CANADIAN productions, the book is The Man with the Golden Gun, 1966, PAN #x527, 1st printing, published in Toronto, a Canadian issue, overall a Good to Very Good example, light external wear, a bit of age toning to paper ---somewhat scarce in the Canadian/Toronto issue ---the boardgame is an original from 1964, this was produced by Somerville Industries in London, Ontario which was done in association with the American manufacturer Milton Bradley, 1964 date on the actual game board, ---looks quite nice overall and the box and internal liner have a strong visual image of JB and a no-goodnik battling whilst a Bond Girl looks on from behind, the box is visually quite nice but there are some marks and stains, tape on portions of the edges and top and bottom, the same image is repeated internally on the box liner, that image is very nice with just a wee bit of rubbing, instructions are on the vero of the lid, game cards are all present but many of them are creased and thumbed, some of the gane pieces are missing (small "pawns" and secret agent figures), the palying surface of the game board is bright and clean, some sunning to the backside of the gameboard, ---let's face it---this is quite nice but incomplete BUT this would look very nice in a library or collection of FLEMING material, or the internal liner would look great framed, ---a very 1960's image , any image directly beside this listing is the actual book and not a generic photo ///NOT SIGNED ---GUARANTEED to be AVAILABLE/// ---sizes are approximate (generally within 1/8 inch)---. First Edition. See Description. See Description. Illus. by Uncredited Cover Art. See Description.
