About This Item

Stanford, CA: Stanford University, 1982. First edition. Loose Sheets. Fine. Large single sheet of paper containing a single poem by Mayes. Published at Stanford University in 1982 presumably on the occasion of a reading at the university. Fine condition. Framed under glass. Including frame, the broadside measures 15" wide x 20" tall. Printed by Betsy Davids with Celia Ramsay. Although not called for, this copy has been SIGNED by Mayes in red ink. A handsome broadside that is quite uncommon. Published long before she garnered fame for Under The Tuscan Sun.
